More about the Congress for Democracy

The Congress for Democracy provides a forum for discussion and co-operation between individuals and groups from across the political spectrum who want to retain an independent pound.

It holds two conferences a year at Church House, Westminster. Those attending include MPs from all the main parties, company chairmen, trade unionists, small business groups, representatives of farming and fishing, students, pensioners and private citizens.

Co-Chairmen of its Congresses are Sir Michael Spicer MP and Austin Mitchell MP.
